Silhouette Furniture company was formed in 1998 and has its base in Durban, South Africa. Its success to date has been that the owners have kept a very "hands on" management style, which has included a philosophy of "low cost production, uncompromising consistency of quality and adherence to delivery deadlines".

We manufacture a range of fully weatherproof aluminum furniture. The furniture can withstand extreme weather conditions. The range includes lounge, dining room and contract furniture, which is suitable for the hospitality industry.

Our frames of the furniture are made of heavy gauge aluminum, fully welded with full-circumference welds. The coating is a high grade polyester powder coat finish onto iridised frames, which provides maximum adhesion and durability.

The seats are woven from a material that has the following attributes:

• Has a textured surface that looks and feels like the natural rattan
• Is fabricated to endure rigorous outdoor conditions such as sunlight, UV exposure, high and low temperatures, mould and mildew.
• It is resistant to moisture, sea water and chlorinated water
• It is washable
• It has been developed to ensure that it is environmentally sound (no PVC is used)
• It is available in over 5 different textures and colour variations.
