The Joinery® is an ethical, locally based and sustainable product design house that turns single-use plastic bottles into luxury goods. We reinvent plastic waste into our trademark material, Future Felt®. Our talented team of African artisans handcraft all our high-end product ranges using our Future Felt® fabric. We create concrete impact. Manufacturing a single Future Felt™ Tote bag results in removing five plastic bottles from landfills. We are on a mission in 2023 to remove one million plastic bottles from landfills across South Africa by creating our products and gifting options. So far, The Joinery® is proud to say that we have surpassed the 800 000 plastic bottle mark! 

Future Felt® comes in an array of product collections ranging from laptop sleeves and desk organisers for your home or office space, travel bags and luggage holders for a smooth stylish business trip to luxury card holders and glass cases for your convenience, sustainably. Each of our Future Felt® products can be made in grey or charcoal (black). Our luxury goods are made with leather trims and offcuts from environmentally friendly vegetable-tanned processes. Each product comes with a swing tag telling the sustainable story and we offer multiple options for client branding, including printing, embossing and embroidery.
