Ordinary glass is subject to harsh conditions, constantly exposed to weathering, surface contamination, chemical attack and physical damage. Contaminants such as atmospheric pollution, hard water deposits (limescale) and fingerprinting cause staining and discolouration.
With the ClearShield procedure, contaminated glass can be renewed and stains removed so that crystal-clear glass reappears. After treatment with ClearShield, this new surface is 'non-stick' and 'easy to clean', the same principle as the Teflon frying pan.
