Organic Solutions was founded by Stephan Kloppert who started worm farming in 1999. Organic Solutions' aim is to introduce large-scale vermicomposting in the City of Cape Town and South Africa. The strategy is to encourage individuals to compost their own organic waste, educate the youth on the subject, promote organic farming using vermicastings, and promote the use of vermiculture in township vegetable gardens.
