NOAH Soap started in Khayelitsha in 2010 as a way for elderly members of NOAH social clubs to supplement their pensions.
NOAH Soap is an environmentally and socially sound initiative. Using only the pristine core of luxury soap donated by top hotels, club members create beautiful, new, eco-friendly bars of soap with all profits of the project going directly to them.
This initiative has a twofold environmental impact. Not only does it divert soap from landfill sites but it also recycles the ingredients of soap, an aspect which is particularly important. For while there is general resistance to using petroleum-based oils in high quality soap, the use of plant oil is not necessarily sound or sustainable. So the recycling of this scarce natural resource is a significant environmental benefit.

Hospitality Experience : |
NOAH Soap produces two standard bars of soap:
- 22g bar, mainly for the hospitality industry; and
- 50g bar, ideal for guest soap and family use. These are sold singly, in pairs or triple packs in beautiful, stylish gift packs.
