RAW's services are divided into six divisions with each dedicated to a unique and engaging focus but all are holistically pure RAW.

Raw Studios is the part of Raw that designs directly to client specific needs, to create tailor made solutions. From this pool of work we often draw ideas for eventual product ranges.

At Raw we love to use the inherent properties of plywood (strength to weight ratio, slight flexibility etc) to create glue-less jointing and clipping systems. Some of these are easy to imagine and test, others take weeks or months to perfect. Hours are spent working out which joint is appropriate for which situation and then we cut and test prototype after prototype.

We would like to think of ourselves as innovators because we used the best of modern technology (the CNC cutter) to produce old school glue-less jointing.

Hospitality Experience :

Peet's current venture has seen the development of RAW Studios, that has led to his personal involvement in larger scale projects, including six auditoriums (mass-seating, acoustic paneling) for the University of Pretoria.
