"I believe in using the minimal amount of material to get the maximum effect. I tend to not over decorate an item and yet still create iconic pieces which are of a high sculptural quality. Form must follow function. Durability and feasibility is key. I am passionate about using woods from sustainable sources, but equally am versed in the full spectrum of materials that allows for full creative expression. In my mind, one can disrupt norms, but the materials used together must be an intelligent combination that has both longevity and comfort. Often the pieces tend to be light and stackable, so as to minimize space loss."
